Director

David completed his Bachelor in Engineering at RMIT in 1986, and joined Ove Arup and Partners shortly after, where he worked on a variety of large projects and a year in the London office until returning to Melbourne in the late 1980's. In 1992, he joined Beauchamp Consulting Engineers and, working with David Beauchamp, designed a wide range of structural projects until purchasing the company in partnership with Joe Spano in 1999 and forming Beauchamp Hogg Spano Consultants (BHS).

For the past 18 years he has been a Director at BHS Consultants and designed a wide range of residential, institutional, industrial and commercial projects, whilst maintaining and expanding his interest in Heritage Engineering and structural conservation. Quatrefoil Consulting aims to continue to focus on delivering bespoke and finely detailed structural design solutions and forensic and heritage engineering services..
